One of the worlds best cooking apples and a superb eating apple if left on the tree to ripen fully (when a yellow blush appears on the green skin). Cross pollinate with Delicious or Jonathan.
APPLE CULTURAL NOTES
PLANTING: Choose an open sunny position in well drained soil. Dig a hole twice the width of the roots, cover with soil, and water in well.
PRUNING: Before planting, prune well back to an . outward pointing bud. When established, prune in Winter.
FERTILISING: Feed with a complete fertiliser or animal manure in Spring.
SPRAYING: Spray for codling moth as directed after fruit set.
