Cinnamon
Cinnamomum verum
(syn. Cinnamomum zeylancium)
The bark is made into quills of cinnamon and the leaves make a pleasant tea. The evergreen tree with shiny green leaves is a native of Sri Lanka. Can grow to 8m but is usually kept as a bush.
