Attractive deciduous shrub or tree with a magnificent Summer flowering display.

Features: An easy to grow, large shrub or small tree with year round interest. Elegant, Winter form with smooth, mottled, pink-grey bark, is followed by vivid green Spring growth. Masses of crinkly -petalled blooms, in soft to deep pink, mauve or white, are produced in Summer and, in Autumn, the foliage turns bright orange-red.

Conditions: Suitable for most fertile, well-drained soils in a sunny to partially shaded site.

For Best Results: Allow enough room for the branches to spread. Prune in Winter if required.
