AN EVERGREEN SMALL TO MEDIUM TREE WITH A SPREADING CROWN OF BEAUTIFUL, LONG, DULL GREEN, PINNATE FOLIAGE AND LARGE CLUSTERS OF HAIRY, CREAMY-BROWN, FRAGRANT FLOWERS BORNE IN SUMMER. SMALL, HARD, ROUND, YELLOWISH-BROWN FRUIT FOLLOW IN LATE SUMMER, CONTAINING A JUICY, RED SEED COATING WHICH IS REFRESHINGLY ACID AND CAN BE EATEN RAW OR MADE INTO DRINKS AND JELLIES. PLANT IN WELL DRAINED SOIL WHICH IS RICH IN ORGANIC MADER AND APPLY A LIGHT DRESSING OF ORGANIC FERTILISER IN EARLY SPRING. KEEP WELL WATERED DURING DRY PERIODS. IDEAL SHADE TREE OR PARK SPECIMEN AND POTENTIAL AS STREET OR AVENUE TREE. A GREAT TUB PLANT WHEN YOUNG.
