Features: Large deciduous Australian native tree with spectacular red flowers seen when the tree has no leaves. Foliage is also attractive, glossy and 3-7 lobed. Tree attracts insects eating birds and butterflies.
Conditions: Will grow in most soils including heavy clay and sandy sites in full sun. Tolerant of dry conditions.
For Best Results: Use a good thick mulch layer and protect especially young plants from frost. Avoid proximity to drains.
