Grapefruit Cultural Notes

Features: Vigorous evergreen tree for warm climates or sites. Spring blossom can take up to 14 months to mature. Bunches of fruit make trees highly ornamental. Allow fruit to ripen on tree as long as possible to develop sweetness. Most fruit ripe in winter. Vitamin C and fibre rich.

Conditions: Citrus trhive in light, fertile free drained soils in full sun. Fruit well in hot sites so good by heating retaining wall in cooler areas. More frost resistant than lemons.
For Best Results: Enrich soil with good compost and citrus food. Mulch and water well.
