Produces large berries with delicious blackberry / rasberry flavour. Vigorous shrub with fine thorns. Grows to 2m high and needs support. Flowers are pink and fruit purple black when ripe Crops mainly Jan-July.

FLOWERING / CROPPING:SMALL PINK FLOWERS LARGE BLACK FRUIT WITH BLACKBERRY/RASPBERRY FLAVOUR. HEALTHY PLANTS PRODUCE FRUIT AFTER 18 MONTHS MAINLY IN JAN-JULY IN WARM CLIMATES PRUNING BACK IN SUMMER WILL DELAY CROPPING TO WINTER MONTHS
WATER: KEEP SOIL MOIST ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUNG. HIGH PEAT CONTENT BEST IN POTS
SOIL: SANDY TO CLAY LOAM AS LONG AS DRAINAGE ADEQUATE SANDY SOILS BENEFIT FROM ORGANIC MANURES OR MULCH.
TOLERANCES: AVOID AREAS WITH HEAVY OR FREQUENT FROSTS. NEEDS REGULAR PRUNING AND TRAINING.
