Hardy perennial with strongly lemon-scented foliage that is carried on upright stems. White flowers attract bees with their sweet fragrance.

Ideal in cottage gardens. Use leaves in refreshing lemon drinks. Herbal teas, salads and sauces.

A tough plant that will grow in most soils but does best in fertile soils with adequate moisture in Summer. Fertilise and mulch in Spring. Harvest leaves as required cutting stems back to the base to promote lush new growth.
