Low, spreading evergreen Australian native shrub with decorative foliage, flowers and berries.
FEATURES: Tufting shrub of green foliage tends to reddish tones in colder regions. New foliage shoots are pink. Pretty white flowers become rounded white berries that are edible and sweet. Bird attracting.
CONDITIONS: Suited to average moist soils in sun or semi-shade. Suited to tropical areas. Tolerant of dry shade, beneath trees, frost and protected seaside sites.
FOR BEST RESULTS: Enrich soil with little compost and mulch well. Trim lightly after berrres if wanted.
