Features: Fast growing annual herb with distinctly flavoured and aromatic leaves.
Conditions: Ideal addition to herb gardens or in pots on patios. Companion plant for tomatoes. Use in pesto and tomato based dishes. Adds flavour to pasta, vegetable and Thai dishes.
For Best Results: Prefers a warm sheltered position in moist, well-drained soil in full sun. Pinching out growing tips for cooking will keep plants bushy. Protect from cold weather and snails.
