Lemon - Eureka

$39.00 ($39.00-$49.00 choose a size)

This lemon is probably the most widely grown lemon in the world It is a true sour lemon with a high juice and acid content. Can have some fruit most of the year. The fruit is thin-skinned and virtually seedless. An almost thornless variety makes harvesting, pruning and growing the Eureka an easy choice. It is a highly productive variety of large flavourful Lemons. The main crop will be harvested during Winter. If you like to use lemons in your Kitchen then you could juice any excess lemons and store in the freezer for later, make some preserved lemons or share with friends.

Rollinia - Brazilian Custard Apple

$34.00 ($19.75-$79.00 choose a size)

A relative of the cherimoya this plant has its origins in tropical America. The fruit about 100mm in diameter has a creamy juicy and delicious flesh, according to some tasting like lemon meringue pie. Fruits within 4 years from seed. Seed selected from extremely sweet and flavoursome fruit with firm white flesh and few seeds. The foliage is delicate on young trees, and our potted plants are known for their older leaves to turn yellow and drop during transport to conserve energy. This is not a problem long term. With care and acclimatisation they will bounce back

Lychee - Chompogo

$54.00 ($54.00-$79.00 choose a size)

A highly rated variety that produces regular abundant crops of medium to large lychees. Fruits are sweet and juicy. Marcotted trees will produce first fruits in 2-3 years in good conditions. Trees will grow 2-5 metres and may be pruned to keep compact. Lychees grow in full sun with good drainage and need protection from wind and frost when young. Best suited to warm climates.

This guava, native to Brazil, is a hardy shrub or small tree. It has a smooth trunk and dark green, shiny, egg-shaped aromatic leaves. Strawberry guava flowers are white with numerous stamens and red fruits This plant can be weedy in warmer climates.

Widely cultivated for use in Asian cooking and basket making. It has a nutty fragrance and is most commonly used in rice dishes or tied in a bundle and cooked with food. Also useful in flower arrangements. A low growing plant to 1m with long narrow blade like leaves and woody aerial roots. In tropical climates it can be grown as a marginal plant in dams and ponds, used as a bedding plant in tropical landscaping. Outside of the tropics, well worth trying as indoor plant in winter with a warm, sunny aspect. Allow the plant to dry out over the winter months, but maintain humidity

Feijoa

Tough, easily grown plant. Must have a few and preferably different varieties for adequate pollination. Trim only after fruit flush is finished. Apply potash late Winter. Eat the fruit out of hand and flowers in salads.

Feijoa

Only buy varieties with low grafts as they sprout low.Hedge well but reduces fruiting. Remove 1 leader each year (usually about 5) after established. Mulch well & keep water up in heat when flowering. We have occasional snow flurries and these guys are OK
