Dragon Fruit - Aussie Gold

I am about to plant this week as I was in the process of making a pole trellis. It has good new growth already and once in the ground it should really take off. I am planting this along with a red one in the same hole. This one is getting mounded slightly above the soil level with gypsum, blood and bone, sand and garden soil added to the hole along with some cacti and succulent mix.

Dragon Fruit - Aussie Gold

I bought the plants because they already had roots and were potted - my previous experience was a piece of cutting that took offence to growing in a grow bag and rotted - I had not realised the felt bag was very wet with our summer rains. I am quite excited to have these healthy plants and look forward to getting up in the dead of night to see it bloom and then to see the delicate green and gold fruit. Am currently considering options for netting my fruit patch.
