Are you growing them as a perennial or an annual here in victoria?

on average perennial.....they need lots of dynamic lifter, chook poo, potash and water. You need to time the flowering around Feb with lots of water to produce about 8 hands on the ladies fingers h/w I once got 20 hands on the golden ones..

also they need a full sun and warm place in the garden...a brick wall is ideal

wow! I thought that it would be too cold in Vic for it to survive winter.
