My edibles report errors - The displays looking lots better for me, thanks, Correy. Re the post I linked, I suppose the username they choose is their own concern, as long as it's not offensive...5401 days 2hrs
My edibles report errors - You might need to add a 'Report this User' or 'Report this Post' function in the event that someone adds something inappropriate to their pages. For example, I don't think this person's display name is a good idea. http://www.daleysfruit.com.au/..5403 days 2hrs
Jabotacarpa - I searched Daley's site for you. They appear to have three varieties of jaboticaba in stock, over 70 plants at the moment. http://www.daleysfruit.com.au/search.php?q=jaboticaba&SType=..5404 days 8hrs
My edibles report errors - Correy, I'm still having slight issues with the display. I don't mind having to scroll thru when there are multiple pictures, but is there some way you could put the plant name above the photos?..5404 days 8hrs
My edibles - Dekka, I think to have the "View all(name)'s Edible Fruit Trees" function work you need to fill in the email address window when you reply to forum topics; with the same address you used on your My Edibles page...5404 days 21hrs

Kumquat - Meiwa (Grafted)

Firefly's Edible Fruits
Update: 5372 days 8hrs

Comments: -

I like how well the fruit keeps on this tree. I could have harvested all the fruit at once in June. Instead, I alternate between this and my other kumquat and munch on a fruit every other day.

Fruiting Months May, June, July, August, September

Growing: In a Pot

Fruit Harvest: 30 Fruit Per Year

Unknown variety. Covered in vicious inch long thorns. Fruit knobbly with thick skin.

Pest Control:

Almost hacked it back to bare branches due to citrus gall wasp a few years ago and got no fruit for a year. It finally started to fruit again and now the gall wasp is back.

Not growing in the best position; being sheltered by the house from both the north and west. Thought it'd blend better visually with the plants sharing the garden bed it's in

Nectarine - Goldmine (Grafted)

Firefly's Edible Fruits
Update: 5412 days 1hrs

Comments: -

Planted this white fleshed variety before I realised I much prefer the taste of yellow nectarines. I keep it because it's one of the few mature(ish) trees I have that gives lots of fruit.

Fruiting Months January and December

Growing: In the Ground

Sun/Shade: Full Sun

Pollination: Self Pollination

Pest Control:

Fruit flies love it. Tried using wax paper exclusion bags during the 08/09 season. Either the bags fell off or I couldn't close them properly so flies still got in. Plan on using a flyscreen tent for 09/10 season.
