There is a mix of native, flowering plants and fruit trees growing in my garden (all fruit trees were planted only about a year or two ago.) Soil type is sandy and rainfall is similar to other Perth metropolitan area. Biggest challenge is to grow an environmental friendly and organic garden producing the most succulent fruits. Rewards at present: the grandiose display of colours as different variety of flowers bloom in different seasons. As Keats famously wrote: "A thing of beauty is a joy forever." To us, our garden is one such beaut thing!
