Lemon Grass

A perennial herb with grassy, lemon scented foliage. The leaves contain Vitamin A and are used fresh or dried in curries, stir-fries, chicken and fish dishes, and herbal teas. Thrives in moist, well drained soil in a sunny position protected from frost. Grows more vigorously in warm climates; in cooler climates grow in large pots which can be moved to the warmest spot depending on the season.
