    Apricot - Storeys (Early Moorpark)

    Large, rich golden fruit with some red blush. Flesh is deep yellow and firm. Good flavour, excellent for jam, preserving and drying. This apricot is a 'Moorpark' strain, but matures about three weeks earlier.

    Apricot - Glengarry

    Heavy cropping variety with small pale golden fruit and a slight blush. The tree is large, vigorous and heavy bearing. One of a few varieties that will crop in the subtropics. The fruits are very flavourful and a summer stonefruit delight. Prune branches during winter. Apricots grow best in full sun positions with good drainage and a regular application of fertiliser during the growin season. Fruit Fly and birds can be a problem and we recommend quality netting to cover the tree that is not harmful to wildlife.

    Very similar to the Glengarry, this local selection originates from just outside Lismore. A hardy tree, that comes into fruiting early and produces good crops of good quality, medium sized apricots. Approx. chill hours 500, slightly higher than Glengarry, fruiting in November.
